Good bye to our Comenius Assistant

This week we have sadly said ‘adios’ to Silvia Saenz Romo, our Comenius Assistant from Spain. Silvia has worked with children across the federation for the past 6 months.

Her teaching has inspired us all to develop a knowledge of Spanish language and culture. As a fitting farewell to Silvia, Mrs Rorison organised an amazing Spanish Day. Staff and children came to school dressed in colours of the Spanish flag. A range of Spanish cooking and themed activities took place in every class and we all enjoyed eating a Spanish lunch particularly the enormous dish of paella that was cooked outside!
