We welcome new children all year around. If you are applying for your child to start Reception in September 2026 please download the admissions policy and application form below. These need to be sent to the local authority. All in-year applications are made using the application form but through the school office.

In – Year’ Applications

Applications for ‘In-Year’ admissions (i.e. other than children due to start Reception in September) are made directly to the school. Please contact the school to arrange a school visit.

Shoscombe Church School is of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership, and as such the Governing Body is the admissions authority. If a place is offered, the applicant will be asked to confirm acceptance in writing, following which the place will remain available for 28 school days from the date of the acceptance by the school.
