World Book Day

We love World Book Day! The whole school dressed up as our favourite book character for the day. During assembly we parading our costumes and heard extracts from our teachers’ favourite books. In the afternoon we shared reading books with children from a different class and had the opportunity to spend our £1 book voucher at the book stall. After school many children returned to school wearing pyjamas for bedtime stories and hot chocolate while our parents browsed the book stall. And if this wasn’t enough we also completed a readathon challenge, raising over £300 for Read for Good.
