The Gruffalo comes to Key Stage 1!

As part of our topic Under the Ground, children in Reception / Year 1 have been focusing on The Gruffalo story. There are various creatures in the story who make their homes underground. We made Gruffalo puppets and Mrs Curtis filmed the children using the puppets to re-enact the story. The children made invitations and we invited parents in to watch a screening of the film. Thanks to our student Chloe for technical support! Parents were also able to hear the children perform The Gruffalo Song, and sample the Gruffalo biscuits we had cooked.
